SIMPLE NARRATIVES OF LIFE
Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Feb 28, 2025
Beloved Saint of God Most High,
Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred week-end ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
“Therefore, putting away lying, ‘Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,’ for we are members of one another.
‘Be angry, and do not sin’: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:25-27).
So, discard every form of dishonesty and lying so that you will be known as one who always speaks the truth, for we all belong to one another.
But don’t let the passion of your emotions lead you to sin! Don’t let anger control you or be fuel for revenge, not for even a day.
Don’t give the slanderous accuser, the Devil, an opportunity to manipulate you!
SIMPLE NARRATIVES OF LIFE
When you are angry, stay quiet. Do not waste your breath on explanations.
Sometimes, silence is the best way to manage your emotions.
People only hear what they want to hear anyway.
Take criticism but never tolerate disrespect.
The best way to honour yourself is to stay disciplined.
Exercise long-suffering and never give up on what truly matters to you and by God’s grace success will be yours.
Waiting is tough but regret is even harder.
Do not let success inflate your ego.
Do not let failure break your spirit for the Lord has not finished with you yet.
It hurts when your biggest effort is ignored and your smallest mistake is judged but do not give up.
If you are given something, make sure you understand its worth.
Takers do not recognize what they lack.
It is better to shed tears than to lash out in anger.
Tears heal quietly while anger hurts others. They cleanse your soul, offering a fresh start.
Detest liars more than you hate thieves.
A thief is only after your material possession but a liar is after your person and the truth you stand for.
This is the importance of integrity and honesty in the pursuit of success.
A thief may rob your material possessions but you can earn them back with time and efforts but a liar destroys the truth you stand for, and undermines your integrity and reality to lead you astray from your goals and dreams.
Hard work is built on a foundation of trust. Trust in God through our Lord Jesus Christ and it shall be well with you.
As you put in your effort, stay true to your values and remain honest in your endeavours to build a reputation of reliability and integrity.
Hard work is not just about physical effort, it is about maintaining a clear honest path toward your objectives.
So, remember to be always careful who you trust in life because not everyone seems to be real and trust worthy.
Stay away from people who are dishonest and manipulative for they have only bad intentions.
Criticise less but contribute more. Remember, the world needs more builders, not auditors.
Train like a challenger and fight like a champion in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Everybody shout a resounding, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!”
Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
