CORRUPT INFLUENCE OF MONEY IN THE WORLD

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Then to the people he said, ‘Be careful to guard against all forms of greed, because even if someone is rich, his life does not consist in what he owns’” (Luke 12:15).

Adonai Yeshua said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness, the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more; for a man’s life does not consist in and is not derived from possessing overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs.

CORRUPT INFLUENCE OF MONEY IN THE WORLD (1 Timothy 6:9-10)
The love of money is the root of all evil.
The corrupting influence of money manifests itself through get-rich-quick. Get-rich-quick attitude leads to large scales of embezzlement of funds, illegal transfers of ill-gotten money, misappropriation of funds etc.

Get-rich-quick leads greedy, corrupt top company directors to manipulate the stock market through insider trading and underhand dealings called sharp or smart practices.

General Areas Of Corruption In The Financial World
Corruption can easily be experienced in different financial areas. E.g:-
In the stock exchange, one can easily experience computer aided fraud and falsification of accounts.

In insurance companies, genuine claims may be refused on flimsy grounds while false claims may be speedily processed and paid for the sake of kickbacks. Greedy External auditors in collaboration with corrupt internal auditors can falsify accounts to help their clients to evade taxes or cover up other unlawful practices.

Boardroom politics thrive at the instances of company secretaries who advice factions of directors on how to cheat others out of their legitimate rights. Many of these activities are perpetrated by trained professionals who once vowed to uphold the ethics of their various professions but now have lost their conscience to mammon and demons.

In so many nations of the world the consequences of corruption have brought banks to distress and the ultimate collapse of finance institutions. The frequency and magnitude of corrupt practices have made some countries to throw away their morals and sense of values.

Many people in this corrupt ridden world do not believe that they can prosper without cheating, stealing and taking of bribes. Wealth is now glorified above righteousness and Christian virtues appear to be irrelevant, unprogressive and unattractive.

It is the duty of Christians to sensitise the world to the consequences of evil. The Almighty God has entrusted us with the words of life and we must cry aloud.

By God’s power of grace, we shall not fail but prevail in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Everybody shout, “AMEN & AMEN!

Shalom and good morning.
