“KEEP ASKING, SEEKING AND KNOCKING”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“In other words, you will receive everything you ask for in prayer, no matter what it is, provided you have trust” (Matthew 21:22).
And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and really believing, you will receive.
KEEP ASKING, SEEKING AND KNOCKING
The certainty of your faith is founded on this scriptural promise in Matthew 7:7. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
How may one illustrate the infallibility and inexhaustible riches, which the word of God offers to us?
You may approach a man of incomparable wealth to help meet your need. But instead, you meet a complete stranger by his house who says to you, “Go and take whatever you desire.” Surely, you will be doubtful, because the stranger has no right to give what does not belong to him.
What a difference it makes, if the very heir, the son of the good man of the house meets you now and assures you of all you ask. What if he says to you, “Ask and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened unto you.” Surely, you would have a base to build your confidence and hope upon.
These are the words of Jesus. He has been with God before the earth was made, before the first angel was created.
Jesus knows His Father very well.
Remember He and His Father are One, therefore nothing He says about God can be faulted. Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened unto you.” These words of Jesus are reliable, dependable, sure and certain.
The highest Person who you can listen to when it comes to God’s promises is Jesus Christ, not a prophet, not an apostle, not an angel. The problem with many people is that when they are in severe need, they tend to see things with their natural eyes of limitation.
They mistakenly do this to God too. Many people fail to see the omnipotence and ability of God to do the impossible for them. But we need to see God as the all-sufficient One, Whose storehouse is overflowing with inexhaustible riches.
Whatever your need may be, even if it were a mere cup of water, God owns the ocean and He is the Fountain of the living water. He will satisfy your thirst without any impact on His resources.
For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.
BELIEVE AND YOU WILL PROSPER IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!
Sabbath Shalom and good morning.
