“YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED & CHOSEN FOR SUCCESS”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Adonai said to Sh’mu’el, ‘How much longer are you going to go on grieving for Sha’ul, now that I have rejected him as king over Isra’el? Fill your horn with oil, and set out; I will send you to Yishai the Beit-Lachmi because I have chosen myself a king from among his sons presented…’” (1Samuel 16:1,10-11)

The Lord, Adonai Yahweh said to Samuel, How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil; I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided for Myself a king among his sons.

Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen any of these.” Then he said to Jesse,” Are all your sons here? Jesse said, “There is yet the youngest; he is tending the sheep.” Samuel said to Jesse, “Send for him; for we will not sit down to eat until he is here.”

Notice David did not choose himself but God did, this is in line with. (John 15:16)
David was chosen and anointed to be king but he had to wait for the ordained and divine appointed time. (Greek – Kairos)

(Ecclesiastes 3:1) There is time for everything. Remember “The cutting edge” of everything including the calling of God to any individual or group of people is the “Timing”

As you begin to move towards the things God has chosen you to do, definitely there will be resistance and attacks but remember that problems and troubles do not indicate failure or defeat it is comforting to know that all the events of our life is under the control of our compassionate, gracious, long suffering and faithful God.

If tragedy strikes, we have but to wait patiently for the hour of redemption. This the broadest way of understanding God’s sovereign rule. Nothing happens without His knowledge and that is why He is Omniscient.

EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO SUFFERED

Jesus the Son of the living God
Apostles and the early church (Acts 4:23-31)
Apostle Paul (2Cor 11:22-28)
Joseph (Gen 37/38/39)
David the king (1Sam 16/17/18)

Golden rule “ALMIGHTY GOD IS IN CONTROL” (Romans 8:28) – Endurance will produce character (Romans 5:3-4)

When God calls and chooses you, He will anoint you for success.
What is success? Literally it means the accomplishment of what is desired.
So we can actually say that success is the fulfilment of God’s will and plans.

YOU ARE CALLED FOR SUCCESS THEREFORE, FEAR NOT!
