“ADONAI YAHWEH DELIGHTS IN THOSE WHO KNOWS HIM & ALL HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Here is what Adonai says: ‘The wise man should not boast of his wisdom, the powerful should not boast of his power, the wealthy should not boast of his wealth; instead, let the boaster boast about this: that he understands and knows me — that I am Adonai…‘” (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Thus says the Lord: Let not the wise and skillful person glory and boast in his wisdom and skill; let not the mighty and powerful person glory and boast in his strength and power; let not the person who is rich in physical gratification and earthly wealth glory and boast in his temporal satisfactions and earthly riches.

But let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows Me, Adonai Yahweh, personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character, that I am the Lord, Who practices loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord.
Jeremiah warns of empty vain boasting.

(1 Samuel 17:23-25)
Are you strong and powerful physically and boast that no one can match your power like Goliath? Put a stop to it.

When all the Israelites saw Goliath, they fled from him terrified. When Goliath saw David, he scorned and despised him and said to him, “Am I a dog, that you should come to me with sticks? …Come to me and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field” (1 Samuel 17:23-54).

Young David needed no armour or shield or sword, but he went in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Whose power never fails.

Have you stored for yourself enough wealth to last a few generations and are you quite boastful of it? Do you live in the confidence that no situation can ever take you by surprise which you cannot handle with all the riches you have?

Let not the person who is rich in physical gratification and earthly wealth glory and boast in his riches.

Saints of God, let’s build our trust in the Lord God Almighty and it shall be well with us and our entire household in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
