GLORIOUS DESCRIPTIONS OF GOD IN THE BOOK OF PSALMS!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Not to us, Adonai, not to us, but to your name give glory, because of your grace and truth. Why should the nations ask, ‘Where is their God?’ Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.” (Psalms 115:1-3)

Not to us, O Lord, Adonai Yahweh not to us but to Your name give glory, for Your mercy and loving-kindness and for the sake of Your truth and faithfulness!

Why should the nations say, “Where is now their God?” But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.

DESCRIPTIONS OF GOD IN THE BOOK OF PSALMS

He who makes God first will find God with Him at the last.
If God could speak through Balaam’s ass, He surely can speak through you.
God chastises us with many instruments, but they are all held in His ever-loving hand.

There are merits and benefits for understanding the psalmist’s descriptions of our God Almighty.

  • A shield for me and my glory (Psalms 3:3).
  • The righteous God (Psalms 7:9) and a just judge (verses 10-12).

  • God is a refuge (Psalms 9:9-10).
  • God is the portion of my inheritance and my cup (Psalms 16:5-6).

  • God is my strength (Psalms 18:1-3).
  • The Lord God is my shepherd (Psalms 23:1).

  • The Lord is my light and salvation the strength of my life (Psalms 27:1).
  • The Lord is the saving refuge, hide out and shelter of His anointed (Psalms 28:8-9).

  • The Lord is my helper (Psalms 30:10-11).
  • The Lord is the rock of my refuge (Psalms 31:2-4).

  • The Lord God is my hiding place (Psalms 32:7).
  • The Lord is my help and my deliverer (Psalms 40:17).

THE LORD OUR GOD, THE OMNIPOTENT GOD IS ALL WE NEED TO OVERCOME!

Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!

Sabbath shalom and good morning.
