NARRATIVES OF UNDERSTANDING
Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Jun 20, 2025
Beloved Saint of God Most High,
Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred weekend ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering.
bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful” (Colossians 3:12-15).
Clothe yourselves therefore, as God’s own chosen ones, His own picked representatives, who are purified, holy and well-beloved by God Himself, by putting on behaviour marked by tender-hearted pity, mercy, kindness, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, and patience which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper.
Be gentle and forbearing with one another and if one has a difference, a grievance or complaint against another, readily pardoning each other even as the Lord has freely forgiven you, so must you also forgive.
Above all these put-on love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony.
And let the peace, soul harmony which comes from Christ rule, act as umpire continually in your hearts, deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state to which as members of Christ’s one body you were also called to live. And be thankful, appreciative, giving praise to God always.
NARRATIVES OF UNDERSTANDING
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.
The mind that stops learning grows old, no matter the age of the body.
Wisdom is not inherited; it is earned through the relentless pursuit of understanding in Christ Jesus.
Without rain, nothing grows. Learn to embrace the storm of your life with God’s grace and victory will be yours.
He who is not afraid of the truth is the strongest because Jesus is the TRUTH.
If you quit once, it becomes a habit. Never quit because a quitter never wins.
The difference between school and life? In school, you are taught a lesson and given a test.
But in life, you are given a test that teaches you a lesson.
Observe, but do not absorb.
Love, but do not depend.
Want, but do not need.
Feel, but do not dwell.
Give, but do not expect.
Speak, but do not hurt. Edify.
It takes:
D – iscipline
R – outine
E – ducation
A – ction
M – entality
To turn your dreams into reality.
The God of heaven is the one who will give us success (Nehemiah 2:20).
I may not have everything I want in life, but I am blessed enough to have all that I need. For this, I am grateful.
What is stress? It is the gap between our expectation and reality. More of the gap, more of the stress. So, expect nothing and accept everything.
Never become a bandage in someone’s life. Bandages are thrown away after the wounds heal.
Some people are seeking validation from people who are not even valid.
Reset…Restart…Refocus…as many times as you need to. Just do not quit.
A moment of patience in a moment of anger prevents a thousand moments of regret.
G – Get
R – Rid
O – Of old
W – Ways
Everybody shout a loud, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
