“BLESSED JEWISH NEW YEAR TO YOU & YOUR FAMILY”
Today, we celebrate the Jewish New Year, ROSH HASHANAH. Blessed Jewish New Year to you and your household in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen! The celebration runs from the 22nd to the 24th of September.
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“So then, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us, too, put aside every impediment — that is, the sin which easily hampers our forward movement — and keep running with endurance in the contest set before us……..” (Hebrews 12:1-2)
As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then, we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us.
We look away from the natural realm, and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus, who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because His heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be His, He endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!
FAITH AND ENDURANCE
Are you discouraged and have lost all joy of being in the faith because you are engulfed with work, problems, expectations that you cannot meet up with, stressed with the demands of house, children, ministry, work and marriage?
Are you being distracted from all what you have been called to do? And if you think that you are the most misunderstood and unappreciated person, beloved, you need not be.
Jesus endured such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against himself from sinners so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds (Hebrews 12:3).
No matter what the situation around you is, do not lose hope in the Lord who has called you to be His own.
He laid His own life on the cross that you might rise above the stress of circumstances and find renewed strength, inspiration, insights and determination to move towards the fulfilment of the vision upon your heart for the glory of God.
Do not let the strain of events bear you down but lift up your eyes unto the hills from whence cometh your help (Psalm 121:1).Keep looking up, keeping your eyes away from all that seems to hinder your progress.
Let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence in the appointed course of the race that is set before us, looking away from all that will distract to Jesus.
Satan comes with many “golden apples” to distract, hinder and stray you from the path you have chosen but you have to purpose in your heart to stay on course and with determination move on forward with your eyes fixed only on the Lord.
YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER IN JESUS’ NAME!
Everybody shout, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!”
“BLESSED ROSH HASHANAH!”
Shalom and good morning.
