“BLESSED FEAST OF SUKKOT TO YOU & YOUR FAMILY”
We are wishing you and your household a blessed FEAST OF SUKKOT. It also called the Feast of Booths, Tabernacle or Ingathering. It’s one of the seven feasts in the Leviticus chapter 23.
It’s a feast of Thanksgiving unto the Lord. It runs from 6th October to 8th. May the Lord God Almighty fill your mouth with praise and Thanksgiving in this time and seasons in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Halleluyah! Give thanks to Adonai; for He is good, for His grace continues forever. Who can express Adonai’s mighty doings or proclaim in full His praise?” (Psalm 106:1-2)
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Everyone, thank God, for He is good and easy to please. Your tender love for us, Lord, continues on forever. Who could ever fully describe Your glorious miracles? Adonai Yahweh, who could ever praise You enough?
COMFORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT IN THE BOOK OF PSALMS
The secret of contentment is knowing how to enjoy what you have and be able to lose all desires for things beyond your reach.
A creed for us all: Silence when your words would hurt.
Patience when your neighbor is blunt.
Deafness when the scandal flows.
Thoughtfulness for another’s distress.
Promptness when stern duty calls.
Courage when misfortune falls.
Remember, a temper is a valuable possession, don’t lose it.
Where can we find comfort and encouragement in the Psalms? Where do you find comfort and encouragement when you need it most?
Unbelievers find comfort and joy in clubbing, drinking parties, but that is not for a child of God (1 Peter 4:3-4).
Unbelievers find joy in alcohol and drug abuse, but that is not for a believer (Proverbs 20:1 / 23:29-35).
Some people lash out vulgarity in order to let out the steam of discomfort, but a true child of God praises God at such times.
The Psalmists gave us some valuable guidelines in their collective writings concerning where to find comfort and encouragement in different situations.
Where To Find Comfort And Encouragement In The Book Of Psalms
When you feel abandoned (Psalm 10:12-15).
When you are fearful (Psalm 23 / 91:1-10).
When you are facing a daunting challenge (Psalm 27:1-5).
When your family gets on your nerves (Psalm 27:10, 13-15).
When you are discouraged by the obvious prosperity of the wicked (Psalm 37:1-7).
When you do not feel thankful (Psalm 107:1-2, 8-9, 19-22).
When your world seems to be falling apart (Psalm 46:1-3, 7, 9-11).
When you are tempted to lose faith in God (Psalm 62:1-2, 5-8).
When you are wondering at the qualifications to stand before God (Psalm 15:2-5).
When you want to know God better (Psalm 42:1-4 / 63:1-5).
When it seems you have lost your eternal perspective (Psalm 90:1-5).
When you feel guilty (Psalm 51:1-4, 10-12).
“PRAISE THE LORD, ALL YOU INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH!”
Everybody shout, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!”
Shalom and good morning.
