CONSIDER THE FAULT FINDING AGAINST JESUS CHRIST

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Yeshua said, ‘I AM the Way — and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me’” ( John 14:6).

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by Me.

CONSIDER THE FAULT FINDING AGAINST JESUS CHRIST
Matthew 9:11  (Accused of eating with sinners)
Matthew 12:1-2 (Accused His disciples)
Matthew 15:1-2 (Accused the disciples for not washing hands)
Mark 2:7-9  (Accused of blasphemies)
Luke 15:2  (Jesus was accused for going to Zaccheus’ house, whom they called a sinner)
John 6:41-44  (Accused Him for claiming who He is)

Many times we magnify others’ fault while excusing ours (Matthew 7:1-5). Jesus our Saviour tells us to examine our own motives and conduct instead of judging others.

The traits that bother us in others are often the habits we dislike in ourselves. Our untamed bad habits and behaviour patterns are the very ones that we most want to change in others.

Do you find it easy to magnify others’ faults while excusing your own? If you are ready to criticize someone, check carefully to see if you deserve the same criticism. Judge yourself first and then lovingly forgive and help your neighbour.

How should we react to others faults? (Ephesians 4:1-3)
Do you know that God has chosen us to be Christ’s representatives on this planet earth? In the light of this truth, Paul the apostle challenges us to live lives worthy of the calling we have received.

The awesome privilege of being called Christ’s very own. This includes being humble / gentle / patient / understanding and peaceful. People are watching our lives; can they see Christ Jesus in us? How well are you doing as Christ’s representative?

When we see faults in fellow believers, we should be patient and gentle. Is there someone whose actions or personality really annoys you? Rather than dwelling on that person’s weaknesses or looking for faults, pray for him / her. If possible, try to spend time together and see if you can learn to like the person.

To build unity is one of the Holy Spirit’s important roles. Holy Spirit leads but we have to be willing to be led and to do our part to keep the peace. We do that by focusing on God, not on ourselves. Do not find fault with anyone or you will expose your own criminal tenderness and disposition!

The Holy Scriptures instructs us not to find fault with anyone because “God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life” (Galatians 6:7-8).

Shalom and good morning.
