WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO SHARE SOME OF YOUR RESOURCES IN THE NAME OF JESUS TO MAKE DISCIPLES FOR HIM?

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

And as for me, I will most gladly spend everything I have and be spent myself too for your sakes. If I love you more, am I to be loved less?” (2 Corinthians 12:15).

I will most gladly spend myself and be utterly spent for your souls in the gospel of Jesus Christ the Lord. If I love you exceedingly, am I to be loved by you the less?

INVESTING OUR RESOURCES FOR ETERNAL DIVIDENDS (Isaiah 58:1 / Luke 6:38 / Matthew 14:15-20 / 1 Corinthians 4:2, 7)

We must acknowledge the divine ownership of all that we have. There is nothing we have received that didn’t come from the Lord God, Adonai Jehovah Jireh.

God Who gave us His Son has also given us all things richly to enjoy. The story of the lad who surrendered his five loaves of bread and two fishes to Jesus teaches us that God can do great things through us.

He can do greater things with our resources no matter how little if only we can surrender them to Him. As the little boy did, in like manner God requires that we share our time, money, provision and all other resources received from Him with multitudes as we endeavour to bring them to the Lord.

The little that is wisely and economically used in reaching out to souls will yield abundant harvest unto eternal life with eternal rewards attached to it.

USING THE MEDIA TO WIN MULTITUDES TO CHRIST (Acts 1:1 / Luke 1:4 / 1 John 1:1-10 / 2:1-2 / )

All the authors of the Bible directed their messages to specific people. Centuries after their time such messages still have relevance to mankind.

There are presently many more avenues opened to send out gospel messages such as tracts, magazines, Christian comics for children and youths, free comical tracts reflecting real life situations such as life, health and social ills.

The print and electronic media remain as powerful instruments in the propagation of the gospel. We have to use them to do great exploits for the Lord. The gospel is relevant to everyday occurrence.

In discussing problems plaguing the society such as economy, unemployment, retrenchment, youth truancy, stress and plague of viruses, we can carefully bring in the gospel and God’s way of solving these problems.

Let us go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Let us teach them to observe everything that we have been commanded and behold, Adonai Yeshua is with us, all the days perpetually, uniformly, and in every occasion, to the very close and consummation of the age in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Shalom and good morning.
