CONDEMNATION OF THE FRUITLESS AND COMMENDATION OF THE FRUITFUL LIFE

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

I am the real vine, and my Father is the gardener. Every branch which is part of me but fails to bear fruit, he cuts off; and every branch that does bear fruit, he prunes, so that it may bear more fruit.” (John 15:1-2)

I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit, that stops bearing He cuts away, trims off and takes away; and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.

CONDEMNATION OF THE FRUITLESS AND COMMENDATION OF THE FRUITFUL LIFE

As good as the fruit of the Spirit is, some Christians still find it missing in their lives. While Jesus commends fruit bearing Christians, He rebukes the fruitless ones.

The branch that does not abide in the vine (Jesus Christ) is cast forth as a branch, withered, cast into the fire and burnt.

A Christian who does not bring forth the fruit of the Spirit is rejected but the fruit bearing ones are replenished and encouraged to bring forth more fruit.

It is true our salvation is not connected with any personal merit, but we must bring forth fruit worthy of repentance. (Matthew 3:8)

The fruit of the Spirit is a product of life of the spirit. Fruit bearing is therefore conditioned upon the possession of salvation experience.

THE CONDITION OF FRUIT BEARING (John 15:4-5)

So you must remain in life-union with Me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to Mine. “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with Me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from Me you are powerless,” declares Adonai Yeshua.

Fruit of the Spirit is a product of life in the spirit. It is a gift from the true vine. A real living relationship and union with Christ is the very condition and qualification for fruit bearing.

Church membership, tithing, good morals, water baptism and offering does not qualify anyone to bear the fruit of the spirit.

“All our self-righteousness are as filthy rags.” Jesus said, “Abide in Me for without Me you can do nothing.” To bear fruit, we must keep our contact with the source of life. And the gateway into the fruitful life is, “You must be born again.” (John 3:3)

May we be fruitful in all our endeavours for the kingdom of God in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Everybody shout, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!

Shalom and good morning.
