“THE RIDICULED CHURCH IN A TROUBLED WORLD”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“But all who devour you will be devoured, all your enemies will go into exile, those who plunder you will be plundered, those who pillage you will be pillaged. For I will restore your health, I will heal you of your wounds,” says Adonai, “because they called you an outcast, Tziyon, with no one who cares about her” (Jeremiah 30:16-17).
Be rest assured, all those who devoured you will be devoured; all your enemies, every one of them, will go into captivity. Those who devastated you will be devastated, and all who made you their prey, I will make a prey. For I, Yahweh, say to you who were once called ‘Outcast,’ I will heal your wounds. And to you who were once called ‘Forgotten Zion,’ I will restore your health.
THE RIDICULED CHURCH IN A TROUBLED WORLD
The church of Jesus Christ has been ridiculed, mocked, abused, hurt, wounded, bruised, plundered and put to shame by the crooks, deceivers, cheats and manipulators within the church and more so by the world at large
But beloved listen to God’s servant: Jesus is coming into His church to clean up the mess and to drive away the unfaithfuls who have polluted the sacredness of the church.
God is about to intervene on behalf of the church to restore the church to its position of divine standard for His glory (Isa 42:13-14). Therefore church of Jesus Christ, forget about the past (Isaiah 42:9/43:18-19/Jeremiah 31:16-17).
WHAT IS GOD SAYING TO THE CHURCH?
God is saying to the church:
WALK IN UNITY (Ephesians 4:1-16).
For united we stand divided we fall. Walk worthy of your calling. Remember unity is not conformity or compromise.
How Can We Maintain Unity Amongst Us?
- By maintaining the attitude and mind of Christ such as humility, lowliness, gentleness, longsuffering, patience, bearing with one another in love, joy in the Holy Ghost and by not running one another down.
- By keeping the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace.
- By recognising our different gifts of grace.
- By equipping the saints in godliness.
- By keeping our entire being towards perfection.
- By forgiving and forbearing one another.
WALK IN HOLINESS (Ephesians 4:17-32/1 Peter 1:15-16).
Let us serve the Lord in holiness and righteousness (Luke 1:74-75). Do not be like the unbelievers for we are not people of darkness.
Be free from all uncleanness, lewdness, greediness, covetousness and theft.
Be free from all the former conduct, the fallen nature of corruption and deceitful lusts, lies and unprovoked anger.
WALK IN LOVE (Ephesians 5:1-6/1Corinthians 13:1-13)
Let us imitate God in love as His children.
- Love that gives before it receives
- Love must be grateful for the best in others
- Love must seek the welfare of others
- Love must deal and act honestly with others
- Love must bear and carry the burdens of others
- Love must believe the best of others
Shalom and good morning.
