“EMBRACE YOUR DREAM & WAIT EARNESTLY FOR IT!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Then Adonai answered me; he said, ‘Write down the vision clearly on tablets so that even a runner can read it. For the vision is meant for its appointed time; it speaks of the end, and it does not lie. It may take a while ……….’” (Habakkuk 2:2-3)
The Lord answered me and said, “Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may be able to read it easily and quickly as he hastens by.” For the vision is yet for an appointed time, and it hastens to the end fulfilment; it will not deceive or disappoint.
Though it tarry, wait earnestly for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behind hand on its appointed day.
Habakkuk means one who embraces or clings. Therefore, embrace and cling to your dreams in the Lord God Almighty through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour!
The Holy Bible is replete with individuals who held on to the word spoken to them by the living God. Abraham held on to the word of God Most High spoketo him (Genesis 12:1-5). God spoke to Abraham, the Father of faith, about a new land and new people.
God did not tell Abraham about the direct location of the land. In (Genesis 18:1-10) God spoke to Abraham about the son that He would give him.
Abraham and his wife had been long infertile.
The thought of having a baby perhaps and most assuredly seemed like a milestone unattainable fantasy. Maybe they had thought that this is their imagination and hallucination.
Abraham and Sarah were faced with a colossal challenge. Yet they did not say enough is enough. They did not pack up their stuff and quit by returning to their original home at Ur. They did not give into defeat and discouragement but held on tightly to the unfailing promises of God.
We must have this same attitude in order to see God’s word of promise fulfilled in our lives. (Hebrews 10:23) In this portion of the scripture, let us consider the phrase “hold fast”. This word is from the Greek word “Katecho” which means to embrace something tightly.
Wrap arms around that God-given word and never stop believing and pursuing it.
At any time you are tempted to be discouraged, quit, give up, and abandon your dream, remember Abraham and Sarah, who remained faithful to the end.
God’s word of promise to you will be fulfilled in this month in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Somebody shout a resounding, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!”
Shalom and good morning.
