“DO NOT BE WEARY”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for me. I cried out to him with my mouth. His praise was on my tongue. Had I cherished evil thoughts, Adonai would not have listened……” (Psalms 66:16-20)
Come and hear, all you who reverently and worshipfully fear God, and I will declare what He has done for me!
I cried aloud to Him with all my heart, and He answered me!
Now my mouth overflows with the highest praise. Yet if I had closed my eyes to my sin, the Lord God would have closed His ears to my prayer. But praises rise to God, for He paid attention to my prayer and answered my cry to Him!
I will forever praise this God who didn’t close His heart when I prayed and never said “No” when I asked Him for help. He never once refused to show me His tender love.
DO NOT BE WEARY
Do not be weary with your crying out to the Lord.
Neither lose hope and be discouraged but pray fervently, persistently and more constantly regarding that which you have brought to Him. The Lord is a prayer answering God and He hears you.
Everything which you brought in prayer before the presence of the Lord may not seem to have any change or might even look worse. But this is not the time to give up praying nor doubting the faithfulness of God. The Lord hears when you come to Him in faith and with crying and tears.
A decree was passed that all the Jews would be destroyed on a certain day. Mordecai heard about it he rent his clothes, put on sackcloth with ashes and went out into the midst of the city and cried with a loud and bitter cry (Esther 4:1-2).
Nehemiah heard about the wall of Jerusalem being broken. He wept and mourned for days and fasted and prayed before the Lord (Nehemiah 1:4).
Peter was kept in prison, but fervent prayer for him was persistently made to God by the church (Acts 12:5). God heard the prayers and cries of these people and answered them in different ways.
Mordecai was honoured the day when his life could have been asked for by Haman.
Esther found favour before the king and requested the lives of all the Jews.
God granted Nehemiah favour before the king to go and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
Peter was used mightily for the Lord after being free from prison.
Be encouraged. Do not give up praying or be frustrated, but continue in prayer, with fasting, crying and tears. Your answers may be instant or may take a little longer but surely the Lord does not reject you. So, hold on in faith and continue in prayer.
YOUR MIRACLE IS IN THE PIPELINE!
Somebody shout, “THANK YOU, JESUS!”
Shalom and good morning.
