BE READY & WILLING TO SERVE WHOLEHEARTEDLY

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him; it is the logical “Temple worship” for you. In other words, do not let yourselves be conformed to the standards of the ‘olam……….” (Romans 12:1-2)

I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of all the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies, presenting all your members and faculties as a living sacrifice, holy devoted, consecrated and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable, rational and intelligent service and spiritual worship.

Do not be conformed to this world and this age, fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs, but be transformed and changed by the entire renewal of your mind by its new ideals and its new attitude, so that you may prove for yourselves what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect in His sight for you.

READINESS AND WILLINGNESS TO SERVE

Service was never intended as a substitute for a godly life.
In Christian service, the branches that bear the most fruit hang the lowest. Service is the rent we pay for the space we occupy.

Many people are available to serve but not ready or willing to serve. They do not have the eagerness and keenness to serve.

There are two factors that determine our readiness and willingness to serve:

Consecration and Commitment.
By consecration, we mean dedication and veneration.
By commitment, we mean involvement, loyalty and engagement.

For every consecration, there is a burden with it. The burden that comes with consecration is actually the cost.
For every commitment, there is time investment for the engagement.

The Biblical Cost Of Consecrated Living

  • To Abraham, it cost him the yielding up of his son (Isaac) (Genesis 22:6-18).
  • To Daniel, it cost him to be cast in the lion’s den (Daniel 6:8-11, 16-17).
  • To Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, it cost them to be cast into the hot fiery furnace (Daniel 3:16-18, 19-25).
  • To Stephen, it cost him to be stoned to death (Acts 7:58-60).
  • To Apostle Paul, it cost him to be beheaded (2 Timothy 4:6).
  • To Jesus our Lord, it cost Him to die on the cross of Calvary (Luke 23:33).

Serve the Lord God with total commitment and devoted consecration in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Somebody shout, “AMEN & AMEN!

Shalom and good morning.
