“HALLELUJAH! JESUS IS NO MORE IN THE TOMB”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Now since we died with the Messiah, we trust that we will also live with him. We know that the Messiah has been raised from the dead, never to die again; death has no authority over him……” (Romans 6:8-11).
Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, because we know that Christ, the Anointed One, being once raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has power over Him.
For by the death He died, He died to sin ending His relation to it once for all; and the life that He lives, He is living to God in unbroken fellowship with Him. Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God living in unbroken fellowship with Him in Christ Jesus.
JESUS IS NO MORE IN THE TOMB
Christ being raised from dead, dies no more, death has no more dominion over Him. (Apostle Paul) (Romans 6:9)
“Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection, not in books alone but in every leaf in springtime.” (Martin Luther)
Therefore, the Son of God became the Son of Man that He might change the sons of men into sons of God.
WHAT IS A TOMB?
It is the same as grave / catacomb / sepulcher / vault / crypt or mausoleum.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is no more in the grave / sepulcher because He defeated the power of grave / tomb / death and its sting. (1 Corinthians 15:12-14, 20-22)
The resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ guarantees the resurrection of all believers.
Jesus moved from grave to glory and we also will do the same.
Grave or tomb can represent our lowest time in life. It could also represent our lowest point in life, the most discouraging point of our lives. Although the tomb, grave, or sepulcher of our lives may look like a permanent place of hopelessness, God is able to change that position for us.
God Almighty the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is well able to transpose us from that situation and condition to our glorious position. Maybe your present state of affars seem to be practically impossible in human eyes / human terms and comprehension.
Cheer up beloved, because all impossibilities are with man and not with God Almighty. (Luke 1:37 / Genesis 18:14 / Mark 9:23 / Matthew 21:22 / Luke 17:6)
Jesus our Lord rose from the dead to:
Save us from the power of death.
Deliver us from the power of grave.
Break our chains and shackles.
Lift us up from the floor of humiliation.
Everybody shout, “GLORY TO GOD!”
Shalom and good morning.
