“GOD DETESTS EVIL ASSOCIATIONS”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“You, children, are from God and have overcome the false prophets, because he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore, they speak from the world’s viewpoint; and the world listens to them…..” (1 John 4:4-6).

Little children, you can be certain that you belong to God and have conquered them, for the One who is living in you is far greater than the one who is in the world.

They belong to this world and they articulate the spirit of this world, and the world listens to them. But we belong to God, and whoever truly knows God listens to us. Those who refuse to listen to us do not belong to God. That is how we can know the difference between the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.

GOD DETESTS EVIL ASSOCIATIONS
From the Old Testament days, God had always warned His people against fraternizing with the world and its practices.

The children of Israel had lived in Egypt for hundreds of years and had grown accustomed to their lifestyle. When the Lord removed them to the land of Canaan, He strictly warned them against associating with the idolatrous people of Canaan.

He said: “When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations” (Deuteronomy 18:9).

God chastised Israel many times and even sent them into exile for worldliness and their refusal to separate themselves from the world. He did not spare Israel, His elect, and will not spare any of His children if we compromise.

Beloved, you may ask, is there no grace now to tap upon? Yes! There is grace but shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid! How can we who died to sin live any longer in it? (Romans 6:1-2).

Any time you have affinity with evildoers, you are courting God’s judgement. Evil association brings about spiritual death and exposes the believer to the attacks of the devil.

A genuine child of God should not stay in the camp of evildoers, even if the personality involved is a relative or close friend. You must identify with the camp of those who preach the truth and live by it.

Ally not with them and avoid places or groups where falsehood is freely disseminated.
Beloved, work out your salvation with fear and trembling. You cannot, as a believer, peddle false doctrines or be a supporter or admirer of those doing so.

You need not feed your family with “the doctrines of devils” nor permit your family to worship in places where the truth of the Scripture is trampled under foot. Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways!” (Haggai 1:7).

“LET HIM WHO HAS EARS HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS TO THE BELIEVERS!”
