A BELIEVER’S SPIRITUAL GROWTH (CONT’D)

METTLE FOR SPIRITUAL AND CHURCH GROWTH
(Acts 6:4 ) “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

Philippians 3:13-15
“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.”

Ephesians 4:13-15
“Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.”

There should be willingness and constant desire for spiritual and church growth.
The end of spiritual growth is the beginning of spiritual growth.
The spiritual understanding of Apostle Paul concerning fruits of consecration and prayers brought about the spiritual and numerical growth of the church of Ephesus. Therefore, our total consecration and commitment to prayer and the preaching of the Word of God will help a long way to our total growth.

If we will discover the indispensability of prayer and preaching of the Word, then our vision and desire for the spiritual growth of members as well as the growth of the church will be realized.
We need to make a serious commitment and consecration now.
We must be willing to pay the price for spiritual growth and no price is too high, beloved saints of God!
