“YAHWEH, YOUR SHIELD AND YOUR FORTRESS”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Here is what Adonai says: “The wise man should not boast of his wisdom, the powerful should not boast of his power, the wealthy should not boast of his wealth; Instead, let the boaster boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am Adonai, practicing grace, justice and righteousness………” (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Thus says the Lord: Let not the wise and skillful person glory and boast in his wisdom and skill; let not the mighty and powerful person glory and boast in his strength and power; let not the person who is rich in physical gratification and earthly wealth glory and boast in his temporal satisfactions and earthly riches; but let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows Me, Adonai Yahweh, personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character, that I am the Lord, Who practices loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord, Adonai Hashem!

Lord, I have so many enemies, so many who are against me. Listen to how they whisper their slander against me, saying: “Look! He is hopeless! Even God can’t save him from this!”

But in the depths of my heart I truly know that you, Yahweh, have become my Shield; You take me and surround me with yourself. Your glory covers me continually. You lift high my head.

I have cried out to you, Adonai Yahweh, from your holy presence. You send me a Father’s help. So now I’ll lie down and sleep like a baby— then I’ll awake in safety, for you surround me with your glory.

Even though ten thousand dark powers prowl around me, I won’t be afraid for the Lord God Almighty, the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel is my eternal shield in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

STAND FIRMLY ON GOD’S WORD FOR VICTORY IS YOURS!
