Dearly Beloved in the Lord,
We are at the end of the year 2025. These past eleven and a half months have gone away like the passing clouds. Now at the end of the year everyone is in a holiday mood. Lots of time to relax. Lots of money to shop, buy gifts, and eat every kind of food. Plans for travel months ago planned on the go. Basically most people are enjoying happy times with friends, family, loved ones, colleagues..etc.
How about you? Have you looked back this year and counted the mercies of God? The miracles of God? His marvellous protection, provision and peace for you? The goodness of the Lord – Supernatural divine help rushing to your aid from directions you never expected through the prayer of saints. The countless unexpected hand of God reaching out in your life and you could only say “it’s truly only God!”
The Lord has been faithful to you! Far more than you can ever imagine! Has your thankfulness and gratefulness rung out through the roof over your head? What have you done worthwhile for Him and His kingdom?
It’s time to ponder what you have given to the Lord that you have professed to love. How much of your time was spent for His kingdom compared to “your time” on devices? What have you invested into His kingdom compared to your future old age or profitable financial investments? How much have you vocally praised the Lord for all that He has been to you? What ways have you worshipped and shown your adoration, love and affection of your heart to the Lord for all that He is and His worthiness?
When the Lord is looking for you to face – time Him, you are busy with the face book, looking for you to stay by the cross and you are busy on X, looking for you to read the bible but you are on blogs, to be in His sanctuary but you are on the entertainment channels of Youtube switching shows and channels. The Lord is waiting to hear about what is up with you from your own mouth, but you are busy chatting on the what’s app hours without end. Beloved how long will our hearts go far away from the Lord who loves you and me, more than anything else? The Day of His coming is closer than you think. The day of judgement and accounting, is not too far away from that! What is the state of your life? In only three and a half years, Jesus accomplished all that His Father had for Him, doing His will. Moses in 40 years – after the age of 80 brought back the people of Israel out of bondage from Egypt, through the Red Sea and Wilderness of Sinai. What is your life bringing to the Lord this year? Empty, fruitless, wasted, regretful days? Days full of purpose and profit to the Lord God? Regard each day, hour and moment as precious and accountable to the Lord. Everyday invite the Lord into walking with you from the start of each day till the last minute you close your eyes on the bed and see what a difference it will be. Then you will look forward to each day with expectation and excitement. Your days will be full, complete and nothing will be boring, lonely or wasteful. Ephesians 5:15 says, “Therefore see that you walk carefully [living life with honour, purpose and courage, shunning those who tolerate and enable evil, not as the unwise, but as wise [sensible, intelligent, discerning people] (AMP B).
