The Word

Dear brethren,
“Weary” is from the Greek word “kopiao” which means to be “beaten out”. The devil uses weariness to drive believers out of the will of God. We must not be beaten out of the will of God. We must not allow circumstances to beat us out of the purposes of God. Situations must not beat us out. Mankind must not beat us out of God’s will. Your past mistakes must not be used by Satan to beat you out. Your old wounds and hurts must not beat you out. Life disappointments must not beat you out. You may have made mistakes which have knocked you down but do not let your mistakes knock you out. Everyone makes mistakes. Only Jesus did not make any mistake. Get up from where you have fallen and run back to God. Do not let the devil condemn you to kick you out of God’s will by making you remember your past. Many have allowed the disappointments in their lives to walk them out of God’s will.

Stand still and see the glory and the goodness of the Lord God Almighty. “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14). Be on your guard against the devil’s devices to cause you to be weary. Weariness is the same as tiredness, drowsiness, exhaustion, fatigue, lassitude, lethargy or listlessness. Do not let the words of men wear you out.

Yours for the kingdom of God,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
