My beloved in the Lord,
Glory to God for we can see His favor come to pass in our lives. The more we acknowledge His favor, the more we are going to experience it with gratitude and thanksgiving in our hearts. When the Bible declares that He will bless “the righteous” with favor, it is talking about you and me, for we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). Be encouraged to develop the habit of confessing God’s favor in our lives. It is available to every child of God.
Here are some ways to activate God’s favor:

1. Confess favor on a daily basis
When you confess God’s favor everyday by praying, “My Lord, I thank You that I have favor with You and man today. I thank You that people are going out of their way to bless me and do good to me today. I have favor with everyone, everywhere I go, in Jesus’ name, amen!” When you confess it, you release your faith by the words of our mouth.

2. Acknowledge favor every time something good happens to you
You acknowledge favor in your life by saying, “That is the favor of God” when something good happens. When you honor and acknowledge the favor of God working in your life, you will experience increased favor. Ephesians 3:20 says that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we ask or think!

3. Sow favor
Galatians 6:7 states that whatever you sow you will reap. If you sow favor into someone’s life by showing them favor, you will reap favor in your own life. When you sow a seed of faith to God, it will come back to you multiplied.

4. Call your favor home
Call the favor of God to operate in your life. Call your favor and blessings home. Call whatever you need – your deliverance, breakthrough and healing to take place. If you will call those things that are not as though they were, you will have all that you call for (Romans 4:17).

5. Expect favor
Several times in the Bible, Jesus told His disciples, “According to your faith will it be to you” (Matt. 9:29). If you can believe it, you will receive it. Continue to remind yourself about who you are in Christ. Tell yourself, “The greater One lives in me” (see 1 John 4:4) and “I am accepted in the Beloved” (see Ephesians 1:6).

Begin to believe God’s Word that divine favor can break through any barrier set before you, giving God all the glory, praise and honor!

Shalom in Jesus’ love,
Pastor Brian Chua
