“A CALL TO TRUST IN ADONAI”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Keep your lives free from the love of money; and be satisfied with what you have; for God himself has said, ‘I will never fail you or abandon you.’ Therefore, we say with confidence, ‘Adonai is my helper……..’” (Hebrews 13:5-6).

Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money, including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions, and be satisfied with your present circumstances and with what you have.

For He, God, Himself has said, “I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support.” I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down, relax My hold on you! Assuredly not!

So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm, I will not fear or dread or be terrified. What can man do to me?

A CALL TO TRUST THE LORD
Many people have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ because of fear of persecution and opposition from their parents and relatives.

Some people have also missed God’s best in marriage because their relatives would not agree with them over God’s choice.

Some have compromised their faith because of having to entertain their visitors who cannot but drink alcohol or have sex before marriage.

Some have backslidden because they are compelled to grant the wishes of their bosses or else forfeit their jobs.

Beloved, why do you fear? Is God dead? Is Jesus no more alive? Has God no more power? Have you forgotten the throne of grace? Is not our God on the throne? Will not God care for you?

Will Jesus not be able to calm the stormy sea of your life? Why are you so fearful when the blood of Jesus has not lost its efficacy? Why are you so fearful when the promises of God are there for you to possess?

Why are you so fearful when He that lives in you is greater than he that is in the world? If Jesus rises and says, “Peace be still” will there not be peace? Will He not supply all your needs according to His riches in glory?

Do not be so fearful. Your opponents are mere men. Their lives are in their nostrils.
The Almighty is on your side. Have faith in the invisible God, the I Am Who I Am.

Your enemies may be strong as Pharaoh, but in Christ, there is nothing to be afraid of.

YOUR TRUST IN GOD MAKES THE DIFFERENCE.
