Dearly Beloved in the Lord,
Are you living in doubt if you will be helped or if you will be delivered? Are you constantly looking at the mess in your life and wondering how it can all be made right? God’s thoughts of and for you are higher than yours. He knows what to do. Only believe and trust in Him the creator of heaven and earth.

“…. if you would believe you would see the glory of God.” John 11:40
What does it take to believe? Your whole heart, whole mind, trust… all these taken and put upon the Lord.

When Jesus spoke these words to Martha He was telling her that her brother who was dead for four days, was going to come back to life. The decaying body was going to receive life and come alive. The blood that once flowed and had ceased to move would once again gush with new life flowing. The body that was rotting, whose stench was unbearable would now be filled with fresh new life. And that’s exactly what happened.
Romans 4:17 says, of the One who can do all things for us “…God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did…” Jesus when He had given thanks cried out with a loud voice “Lazarus, come forth!” Jesus called out to dead Lazarus to come alive and out of the grave. He who was dead and had to be carried into the grave by men, now walked out alive without any human help.
The Bible says that Lazarus who had died came out bound, hand and foot with grave clothes and his face wrapped with a cloth. The one who had died, rotting, decaying with much stench was now walking out by himself out of the grave. The man who was dead, whose body was bound at the feet now walked. The one whose face was wrapped with a cloth and hands bound, moved without any human help but with the quickening, life giving power of God working through his body and at the divine command. Only through the power of the word of God could this happen. Right in front of her eyes, grieving Martha saw her dead brother come alive.
Martha believed. She saw the glory of God. (John 11)
Beloved be encouraged! What happened to your knowing that the Lord is faithful from your past testimonies and the word of God? The human mind easily forgets readily giving in to the doubts, unbelief and fears that the enemy sows. Satan is at work 24 hours a day and your prayer life hardly crosses 20 minutes. Faith is shaky and the mind weak to stay strong in the word of God and believe the whole promises of God. Abraham believed the Lord for the son promised many years ago though in the natural it was totally impossible with his 100 year old body. The same for Sarah. Totally impossible for a 90 year old to bear a child. No one – none had ever heard of such a thing happening. Yet Abraham held on in faith because of the promise, “I have made you a father of many nations.” God with whom nothing is impossible called for Abraham’s “dead” body and Sarah’s “dead’ body to bear and conceive seed. And the miracle baby Issac was born.

Beloved, only believe and trust in Him the creator of heaven and earth, the Lord who makes the deaf to hear and blind to see is more than able to bring the miracle for you in this new month of new beginnings. Thank Him! Praise Him! Exalt His holy Name! Bless His holy name! Receive your miracle in Jesus’s name amen!

In the blessed love of Jesus,

Sister Elizabeth Daniel
