VICTORY
The Jericho wall fell flat and they found victory at last. No matter what we pass through in this world, whether tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, peril or sword, Rom 8:35 tells us that we shall win at last through God. Before we get the triumphant ending, however, we may have to pass through some difficult chapters of life. These difficulties sometimes may be beyond our understanding. It may even call for added fasting and praying. Go ahead and do it just like Esther the queen and the Jews did.

As children of God, trusting in the Everlasting God, we will live happily ever after. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which will never be moved but abides forever. (Psalms 125:1-2) Woe is the man who trusts in the arm of flesh (Jeremiah 17:5-6).

We will see God at work. We will triumph over those tragedies at last. The Holy Scriptures assures in Revelation 21:4 that there will be no weeping, no sorrow, no gnashing of teeth anymore for the Lord has given us victory.

Though God is invisible, yet He is invincible. The invisible God may appear to be absent, yet He is the invincible God Who is working out His best plans for us. God is able to reverse fates to your advantage as He did in the case of Haman and Mordecai.

Be still and know that He is God. Our strength and safety is not in noise making, murmuring, complaining or fighting back by ourselves but in the power of prayer. Yes! God still answers prayer even today in your case. God is still doing wonders in the midst of His people.

Pray and believe and it shall be well with you. Believe God and tell Him you believe! Turn to the Lord when you do not know where to turn. Those who believe in Him will never be ashamed.

Yours for the kingdom of God,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
