SHOW LOVE AND DO GOOD ALWAYS FOR GREAT SHALL BE YOUR REWARD

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

But love your enemies, do good, and lend expecting nothing back! Your reward will be great, and you will be children of Ha‘Elyon; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked” (Luke 6:35).

Love your enemies and be kind and do good, doing favours so that someone derives benefit from them and lend, expecting and hoping for nothing in return but considering nothing as lost and despairing of no one.

Then your recompense and reward will be great, rich, strong, intense, and abundant, and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind and charitable and good to the ungrateful, the selfish and wicked.

If we would always recollect that we live among people who are imperfect, we would not be in such a fever when we find our friends’ failings.

The best of men are men at their best and the best wax will always melt.

The best straight timber has knots in it and the cleanest field of wheat has its share of weeds. The most careful driver one day upsets the cart and the cleverest cook spills a little broth.

Human beings like us all are full of faults. Therefore we ought to keep two beets and learn to bear and forbear with one another.

You are always and dearly loved by God! So robe yourself with virtues of God since you have been divinely chosen to be holy.

Be merciful as you endeavour to understand others and be compassionate, showing kindness toward all. Be gentle and humble, unoffendable in your patience with others.

Let us tolerate the weaknesses of those in the family of faith, forgiving one another in the same way you have been graciously forgiven by Jesus Christ.

If you find fault with someone, release this same gift of forgiveness to them. For love is supreme and must flow through each of these virtues. Love becomes the mark of true maturity.
Since we live in glass houses, let none of us throw stones. Other peoples’ imperfections show us our own imperfection too.

Therefore one sheep is much like another.
What we wish to see we shall see or think we see. Faults are always thick where love is thin. A white cow is all black if your eye chooses to make it so.

As for our own faults, it would take a large slate to hold the account of them but thank God, with all our faults He loves us still if we are trusting in His Son.

Beloved, let us not be downhearted but hope to live and learn.

LOVE IS SUPREME AND GOD IS LOVE!

Everybody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!

Sabbath shalom and good morning.
