Calvary greetings to you in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Amen!

HOW YOUR BEN-ONI CAN BECOME BENJAMIN

A dead fish can float downstream, but it takes a live fish to swim upstream.
He who does not climb the mountain cannot see the view.
Determination to be wise is the first step towards becoming wise.
Make a choice to stand for what is right lest you fall for anything.

Genesis 35:16-18

Rachel was overwhelmed with sorrow at her difficult childbirth which later led to her death.
Jacob, her husband though weeping at the loss of his wife, could see the mercy of the child’s birth.
Beloved saints of Most High God, while the flesh mourns over our trials, our faith triumphs in divine steadfastness.
Our sorrow becomes joy. Our Ben-Oni becomes Benjamin. Our ‘Son of Sorrow’ becomes ‘Son of Our Right Hand’.

Isaiah 61:3
Samson’s lion yielded honey (Judges 14:8-9) and so will our adversities become our source of miracles and supernatural breakthroughs if we look at those adversities in the right way.

Our stormy sea will feed a great multitude with its fish if we endure the turbulence.
Our wild forest will bloom with beautiful flowers if we persevere. The stormy wind sweeps away the pestilence.
Our biting frost will loosen the soil for our good.
Our dark cloud will distill bright drops of rain as a blessing.

Black and dark earth will grow colourful flowers. If there is only one lion in the desert, we will hear it roar.
The Lion of the tribe of Judah will roar on our behalf, so rejoice.

Sometimes, we can cry like Jacob, “all these things are against me” (Genesis 42:36).
At any moment you feel that the hand of Satan is against you, apply your faith (Psalms 55:22-23 / 50:15-23 / 1 Pet 5:7-10).

Always anticipate good results from the worst calamities. Faith does not fret over the broken pitcher but rejoices that the lamp blazes. We are to ignite the fire and spread the flame. Remember that out of the rough oyster shell of difficulty, shall faith extract the scarce pearl of honour. From the deep ocean caves of distress shall faith uplift the priceless coral of experience.

Beloved, when the flood of prosperity ebbs, faith will find treasures hidden in the sand.
When the sun of delight goes down, faith will turn its telescope of hope to the starry promises of heaven.
When death appears, faith points to the light of resurrection beyond the grave.

May the Lord God Almighty make our dying Ben-Oni to be our living Benjamin in Jesus’ name Amen!
