“HOW TO POINT THE SPIRITUAL DESTITUTE TO FREEDOM”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember! I will be with you always, yes, even until the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).

Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion, to the very close and consummation of the age. Amen, says Adonai Yeshua!

Friendship Evangelism
This is the biblical way of cultivating and developing friendship with the unbelievers with the view of reaching them with the gospel message. Maintain the principle of winsomeness, kindness, helpfulness, compassion, love and affection (Acts 8:26-31 / 9:10-19). We must avoid cultivating “holier than thou attitudes” and racial prejudicisms (Luke 19:5-7 / John 4:9).

Literature Evangelism (Psalms 68:11 / Habakkuk 2:2)
The gospel on the printed page has been described as a silent and greatest missionary because:-
It can be secured and studied in secret, get undivided attention in the quiet hours.
It overcomes language and religious barriers.
It overcomes racial barricades.
It reaches where people cannot reach.

It cannot be arrested or argued with.
The more it is bound, the faster is spreads.
The use of literature for evangelism must be purposeful, to create awareness of the rich blessings of belonging to Jesus.

Godly Counselling
Counselling is an avenue to solve problems on individual basis. Counselling allays fears and builds up faith.
Through counselling we create the opportunity for the unsaved people to unburden their minds and ask questions privately.
During counselling we must be patient to listen we must not condemn them.
We must keep their secret in confidence. (Proverbs 17:9 / 20:5)

Caring and provision
We must show care, love and sympathy during periods of grief, bereavement, sickness, etc

HOW TO KEEP THEM ON THE WAY OF FREEDOM
(Jude 24 / Acts 20:32 / Eph 4:12-14)
Newly converted professionals need to be adequately followed up and established in the faith. They need to be kept in the oasis of God’s blessings and presence. Because of the peculiar temptations they are exposed to, there is need to apply diligence, love and wisdom in handling them to get them fully perfected in Christ.
