WILL YOU BE RAPTURED OR RUPTURED

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a rousing cry, with a call from one of the ruling angels, and with God’s shofar; those who died united with the Messiah will be the first to rise; then we who are left still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord…….” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first.

Then we, the living ones who remain on the earth, shall simultaneously be caught up along with the resurrected dead, in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always through the eternity of the eternities we shall be with the Lord! Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words.

WILL YOU BE RAPTURED OR RUPTURED?
The rapture and Second Coming of Christ are not the same events.
Rapture is Christ’s coming for the saints while the Second Coming is Christ coming with the saints.

The rapture was a great mystery to the Old Testament saints and prophets but God underlined this great event in two different ways in the Scripture to assure us of its certainty.

Gen 5:24 tells about Enoch. Enoch’s righteous living resulted in him being spared from physical death, affirming God’s power over death.

Elijah was the only other person to share this experience. (2 Kings 2:11-12)

Both Enoch and Elijah were living saints who never tasted death but were translated in a moment and caught up in the air.

Jesus Christ our Lord in the New Testament was taken up. (Acts 1:9-11)
Anyone claiming to know the time or day of rapture is not to be believed because it will be an event that happens unannounced.

That is why it is very important for every child of God who is born again to live a holy life, doing the works of God, watching daily and praying always and being ready all the time.

Be watchful and always sober, vigilant and ready for the rapture will happen without a moment’s warning.

Those who are waiting to repent at the last moment of the rapture will be disappointed forever. In the twinkling of an eye everything will happen. Now is the time for those who have not known the Lord to repent.

If you once knew the Lord but have backslidden, now is the time to repent and run back to the Saviour. Repent because now is the time of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2 / Mark 1:15)

Shalom and good morning.
