Moses built the tabernacle according to the pattern given to him by God. Solomon built the temple according to the pattern revealed by God to his father, David. The Apostle Paul didn’t teach what he wanted or what suited him. He followed the pattern he received from the Lord and delivered to the people what he had received from the Lord.

The church of Jesus Christ is to conform to the pattern established by God. Failure to follow the pattern God has given has led many to fail in their ministries. The question we should ask is: Have we thrown away the heavenly pattern and begun to lay our own foundation?

The unity God expects of us is a unity qualified with Christ-centredness. We are to speak the same thing, with the Bible as our standard, as our pattern. We are to raise high the banner of truth. This tape also carries a teaching on the causes of division in the church.
