The doctrine of the Godhead is the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. The Holy Bible teaches that the Godhead consists of three separate, distinct and recognisable personalities perfectly united in one. These three personalities are God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. They are not just names. They are persons but united in one.

The Bible clearly teaches that each member of the Godhead is God. This teaching brings forth various portions of the Scriptures which declare that the Father is God, Jesus the Son is God and the Holy Ghost is God.

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost are three distinct persons co-eternal, co-existent, co-equal in power and have divine attributes that make each of them God.

The work of creation, redemption, sanctification and healing is done by the joint venture of God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The unity of the Godhead is scripturally evidenced in the execution of all divine plans.

This teaching brings forth various Scriptures which show how God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost were involved in the work of creation, the incarnation of Jesus Christ and the ministry of Jesus Christ whilst on earth. Jesus also declared His companionship with God the Father and the Holy Ghost in the Gospels. It was by the combined working of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost that Jesus was able to fulfill His ministry here on earth. The work of redemption which Jesus Christ accomplished by submitting Himself to die on the Cross of Calvary was a joint venture of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The work of sanctification by which man is cleansed from inbred sin, from the fallen nature we inherited from Adam is also a joint venture of the Godhead. The Godhead is also at work in empowering every believer through the baptism of the Holy Ghost to fulfill the Great Commission.

The doctrine of the Godhead is a great mystery which is far beyond the understanding of the natural man. It takes the grace of God and the Spirit of God for us to understand the doctrine of the Godhead. We accept the gospel truth of the Godhead doctrine by faith.
