Pride is a sin and we are to avoid it in any form. To avoid pride, we must possess the mind of Christ maintaining humility through the very nature of God in our lives. We are to exercise modesty, self-control and godly reservation in the affairs of life. Self-exaltation must go from our lives.

Pride is not of God. Jesus our example was not, and is not proud. Satan is king over all the children of pride. Do not allow him to use pride to destroy your life. Guard your heart and life. Do not allow pride to come into your life in any form. Do not allow pride to cause you to forget your humble beginnings. You are what you are today by the grace of God!
