Calvary greetings to you in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Amen!

Other books were given for our information but the Bible was given for our transformation.
No atheist can injure the Bible’s influence as thoroughly as a Christian who disregards it in his daily life.
You can learn a lot from the Bible; you can learn still more practicing it.
This is rather a strange subject. No doubt, the Bible is a wonderful Book.
It is God’s inspired revelation to man.

The Bible is the source of all grace and help for the body, soul and spirit.
Of all the books you can find in the world, it is the most important Book because it is the only Book that reveals the mind of God.
The Bible reveals the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, unbelievers and the eternal happiness of believers.
The Bible offers spiritual guidance for every area of our lives.
We who have believed on the Lord Jesus know the importance of this Word of God.
However, there are many others who do not have or read the Bible.
There are other people who possess this heavenly treasure in their hands still do not read it.

Our neighbours may not read the Bible but our lives become the Bible they read.
Do you know that you are your neighbour’s Bible?
Those around you may not be conversant with the Bible but they can read it through your life.
Our neighbours may not know the commandments of God through the written pages but they can read those commandments through your life.
They may not know the essence of being born again but as they observe our manner of life, they will understand and appreciate the gospel message.

THE PERTINENT QUESTIONS ARE:
  • What do people read through our lives? Do they read the correct authorized version through our life?
  • Do they read the complete and correct version or is it the incomplete, incorrect version through our lives?
  • Is your life an epistle of Christ to those around you?

1 Corinthians 3:1-3

The Corinthians that Apostle Paul wrote to in this passage had an encounter with the Lord Jesus.
The gospel had been preached to them and having received it; they were changed and transformed.
Furthermore, it was evident in their lives that they had a strong relationship with God.
Now that we have the epistle to the Corinthians, we may as well ask, where is the epistle to Singapore, United States of America, Malaysia, Europe, etc.?
Beloved, we are the epistle to our city state, our nation and the continent.
You are the epistle to the place you are right now!

What kind of epistle do people in your office, family, community, home or neighbourhood read through your life?
Even before the Corinthians became an epistle, they had an encounter with the Living Saviour.

How did they know Jesus? God used Apostle Paul to preach to them (1 Corinthians 4:15).
So, it is not enough to go to church, you must hear the gospel message, believe it and be saved from sin.
You must acknowledge that only Christ Jesus can save you from sin.

(1 Peter 1:23) The purpose of the gospel is to make us born again, not just to be religious, not to link us up with a preacher or a famous prophet but to point us to Jesus.

To be continued.

Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,

Dr. Daniel O. C.
Senior Pastor
