PUT OFF THE MASK (CONT’D)

WARNING TO PARENTS

The Bible warns against provoking our children (Ephesians 6:4).

Do you know that we can provoke our children by our ungodly manifestation at home?

Children can be provoked to wrath because of the ungodly environment created by the parents who claim to be Christians or Christian leaders.
Children can be provoked to wrath by frequent quarrelling of their parents at home.
Children can be provoked by our non-caring attitude towards each member of the family unit.
Children can be provoked through exhibition of partiality when dealing with them.
We can provoke our children through selfishness, carelessness, self-centeredness and frequent self-opinion which seems to contradict the Word of God.
We can provoke our children through our compromising stand in the home front.

Many couples exhibit ungodly character at home, thinking that no one will see or know of it.

Such deception will have adverse effects on the children later.

Most couples are ignorant of the fact that love is the greatest constraining power on earth.

We must understand that love is the cure for all ills and wrongs.

The sorrows and the crimes of humanity all lie in this one word, “Love”.

Show me a couple who truly radiate love in their relationship and I will show you that their offspring will be a stable foundation to excel in life.

WHAT ARE THE RESULTS FOR TAKING OFF THE MASKS?

The determination to take off our mask and falsehood is challenging.

The determination is neither picked by the roadside nor bought with money.

It is neither acquired by beauty nor by a wealth of experience.

The secret of taking off the mask is ignited by fire and flame of love (Romans 12:9).

When we take off the mask, we will experience love, obedience, self-control, discipline, responsibility, confidence, fearlessness, humility, godliness, prayerfulness and we will become winsome.
