Calvary greetings to you in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Amen!

2. CONDITIONS FOR THE PURITY OF HEARTS

The purity of heart is for all believers. This experience can be received through:

Commitment And Consecration (Romans 12:1-2 / 2 Timothy 2:21 / Psalms 73:25-26)

God expects us to lay our bodies, personal opinion, will and self on the altar.
God expects us to desire only His truth, His Word and His will to be done in our lives.

Unwavering Faith In God’s Promises (Hebrews 4:1-3)

We must believe God and not look at our frailty or inability (Jeremiah 32:17 / Luke 1:37 / Mark 11:24).
Faith, with true desire for inner holiness of life will grant us this glorious experience.
The Bible tells us to “come boldly” (Hebrews 4:16).
As you pray with a strong thirst for purity, coupled with childlike faith, God will accomplish His word.
Faithful is God, who has promised. (1 Thessalonians 5:24)

Steadfastness (Hosea 10:12 / Genesis 32:24)

Anyone who pours out his or her heart before the Lord with full consecration and faith will not be denied.
Jacob prevailed and we will too. God is more than willing to sanctify us more than we can be sanctified.
Seek Him with all your heart and He will purge your heart.
Having heard and seen from God’s Word and His perfect will for man, there is need to consider how to keep this blessed experience.

3. HOW TO MAINTAIN THE BLESSING (John 15:1-9 / Acts 2:41-47 / Philippians 2:3 / 3:7-21)

If we are not watchful or careful to keep ourselves pure, we will be drawn back to sin (1 Timothy 5:12-13 / 1 Timothy 6:10).

To maintain this experience of the purity of heart, we must:

Abide in Christ (John 15:1-5 / Matthew 6 / Psalms 57:7)

To abide in Christ, we must flee from whatever will mar or tarnish our relationship with our God.

Watch and Pray (Mark 13:32-37 / 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 / Colossians 4:2 / 1 Peter 5:8-10)

Oftentimes, believers only pray but they do not watch.
The Holy Bible instructs us not only to pray but also to watch.
We must watch our motives, thoughts, intentions, attitudes and life in general.

Maintain A Prayerful Life Of Complete Dependence On God (Mark 1:35 / Luke 18:1 / 1 Thessalonians 5:17 / 1 Peter 5:7-11 / Matthew 7:7-11)

Whatever be the service we are rendering to the Lord, we must ensure that nothing takes away our devotional time with the Lord.
The more prayerful we are, the more of Christ’s glory we will experience.

Beware Of Compromise (Songs of Solomon 2:15 / Luke 16:10 / Job 31:1 / 32:21-22 / Proverbs 7:24 / 1 Timothy 2:9-10 / 5:6)

Beloved, we must not compromise our godly standard, life, association, relationship, attitude, manners and character because of a morsel of bread. We must not sell our spiritual standing or birthright because of monetary gain or financial help.
We must not corrupt ourselves because someone has promised us a loan or has loaned us money.
We must come out of them and be separate and God will be our Father and meet our need. (2 Cor 6:17-18)

Lay Your All On The Altar (Matthew 6:19-21 / Philippians 3:7-17 / Acts 2:41-47 / 4:31-37)

We must ensure our consecration is growing deeper on a daily basis.
As we do all these, surely heart purity be maintained and we will remain rapturable.

We are called into holiness. (2 Timothy 1:9 / 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8).
God is holy and we must be holy too. (1 Peter 1:15-16 / Leviticus 11:44-45 / Hebrews 12:14)

God has promised and made all provision for all sincere, genuine and honest believers to receive purity of heart.
Have you received the gift of the purification of heart?

Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,

Dr. Daniel O. C.
Senior Pastor
