“TRUE FELLOWSHIP IS ESSENTIAL FOR OUR CHRISTIAN BONDING”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Two are better than one, in that their cooperative efforts yield this advantage: if one of them falls, the other will help his partner up — woe to him who is alone when he falls and has no one to help him up. Again, if two people sleep together, they keep each other warm……” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)

Two are better than one because they have a good, more satisfying reward for their labour, for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie down together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone?

And though a man might prevail against him who is alone, two will withstand him. A threefold cord is not quickly broken.

True fellowship carries with it a two-fold responsibility; one is towards God and the other towards our fellow men. The strength of our fellowship lies in God and can only be sustained by Him.

Our fellowship with God and His Spirit enables us to have the same mind with believers of similar precious faith.

When there is a crack in our fellowship with the Spirit, it soon creates a gulf in our relationship with other believers. Our prime responsibility, therefore, is to keep our relationship intact with the Lord.

We must ensure we “do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4:30).
Our sacred relationship with Him should be guarded jealously.

To maintain this relationship, all forms of base passions must be kept at bay. In his epistle to the Ephesians Christians, Apostle Paul said, “Let all bitterness be gone….” (Ephesians 4:31).

We must not harbour hatred or malice against our fellow brother or sister.
We should forgive and forbear.

The moment you begin to hate the brethren, you have broken the cord of fellowship.

Fellowship is essential for our Christian bonding and the string that holds us together as God’s children.

WE ARE BLESSED TO BE CHILDREN OF THE LIVING GOD.

Everybody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!

Shalom and good morning.
