BE EAGER TO DO GOOD FOR GOD’S GLORY!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

While continuing to expect the blessed fulfillment of our certain hope, which is the appearing of the Sh’khinah of our great God and the appearing of our Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah. He gave himself up on our behalf in order to free us from all violation of Torah and purify for himself a people who would be his own, eager to do good.” (Titus 2:13-14)

Awaiting and looking for the fulfillment, the realization of our blessed hope, even the glorious appearance of our great God and Saviour Christ Jesus the Messiah and the Anointed One,

Who gave Himself on our behalf that He might redeem us and purchase our freedom from all iniquity and purify for Himself a people to be peculiarly His own, people who are eager and enthusiastic about living a life that is good and filled with beneficial deeds.

Jesus wept with those who were mourning over a lost relation (John 11:35). Jesus the Messiah and the Anointed One brought smiles on the faces of those who grieved.

Do you visit the bereaved in their afflictions? Or are you unyielding and unbending when your enemy is sick that you cannot visit him.

Do you rejoice when your persecutor is in adversity? If so, you do not have the mind of Christ who prayed for His persecutors and forgave them.

How do you treat your maid or domestic helper? Is she eating the crumbs from your plate and the leftovers from your children?

Do you despise those of low estate like the rich man who fared well, yet did not allow Lazarus to eat the crumbs from his table freely?

Are you like father Abraham? He went after Lot to rescue the latter after he had separated from him to dwell in Sodom.

Saints of God, let us pray for those in adversity. Care for the needy. Give generously to the hungry. The Lord wants us to care for the souls of people because their eternal destiny is vital.

Let us be eager to do good for God’s glory and it shall be well with us in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Somebody shout a resounding, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!

Shalom and good morning.
