“GOD’S WORD MUST BE THE BEDROCK AND FOUNDATION OF OUR PRAYERS”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Isn’t my word like fire,” asks Adonai, “like a hammer shattering rocks” (Jeremiah 23:29)

God’s word is like fire that consumes all that cannot endure the test of the heat. God’s word is like a hammer that breaks in pieces the rock of most stubborn resistance.

The word of God is incorruptible, infallible, impregnable, unshakeable, immovable and ever-living to keep our prayer in line with His divine will.

We must use God’s word to strengthen our prayer power. It is God’s word that reassures us of our answer to our petition and prayer. The importance of God’s word is invaluable. Therefore, whatever we pray for our lives or for the lives of others must be based on God’s word.

Remember, daily prayer lessens daily cares. Prayer is the oil that makes the engine of our spiritual life run smoothly. Unbelief is a strong deterrent force that will keep your prayer unanswered.

Asking, seeking and knocking outside God’s word is actually praying wrongly (James 4:3). God’s word must be the bedrock, substructure and footing of our prayer otherwise our prayer will have no foundation (Isaiah 41:21).

In prayer we speak God’s word to Him exactly as He has spoken to us for our good (Romans 10:9-10).

We must understand that God never changes (Malachi 3:6 / Hebrews 13:8). What He has done in the time past for the saints of old, He will also do for us even now.

He answered their prayers; He will answer ours too.
He healed their sicknesses; He will heal us too.

He provided for their needs; He will also provide for us too.
He fought their battles; He will fight ours too.

He defended their course, He will defend ours too.
He blessed the works of their hands; He will bless ours too.

He protected them in the past, He will protect us too.
He comforted them in the past, He will comfort us too.

God wants to demonstrate His infinite power through our prayer, therefore, we must pray even as He has commanded us to pray in faith (Luke 18:1). God uses His word to speak to us and we must use our prayer to let Him know of our needs. (Hebrews 1:1-2)

We must always acknowledge God in all things as our source of help and strength (Proverbs 3:6). God’s power reflects His glory and His omnipotence. We must remember God’s nature and His attributes as we pray.

God is gracious, full of compassion, slow to anger, great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, His tender mercies are over all His works, the Lord upholds all who fall, He raises up all who bow down, the Lord is righteous (Psalms 145:8-9, 14, 17).

We must understand the central rule of an answered prayer. The central rule is to believe, accept and trust in the ability and worthiness of God and have full trust in Him (Romans 10:11 / 2 Chronicles 20:20 / Isaiah 26:3-4).

We must always believe in the word of God’s power as we pray (Hebrews 4:12).
The word of God as applied in our prayer builds up our faith. God’s word always reveals the power of our infinite God in answering our prayers.

Beloved saints, God’s word is what prepares and gets us ready to pray (1 Thessalonians 5:17-19).

GOD’S WORD IS INVALUABLE IN OUR PRAYER.”

Shalom and good morning.
