“And Joshua said to the people, ‘Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you’” (Joshua 3:5)

Beloved Brethren,

Joshua 3:1 says, “Then Joshua rose early in the morning, and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, and he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over.” Notice that Joshua and the children of Israel came to the Jordan and lodged there. Remember they left Acacia or Shittim. Acacia or Shittim represents flesh or works of flesh. They lodged in Jordan which represents spirit.

Church deacons, deaconesses, elders, senior elders, pastors, teachers, evangelists, prophets and apostles, how long will we continue to lodge, stay and operate in the flesh? Is it not yet time for all church workers, missionaries, and five-fold ministers to quit Shittim and lodge in the Jordan of the Holy Spirit? The trumpet of God is sounding clearly and profoundly audible, “Church! Church!! Church!!! Go and lodge in the spirit for there is nothing good in the flesh. Lodge and operate in the spirit,” says the Lord of hosts.

Joshua 3:5 says, “And Joshua said to the people, ‘Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders.’” Do you want to see and experience victory in this spiritual battle (invasion)? Sanctify yourselves, keep yourselves from every kind of pollution. Come out of pollution and accursed things, and be separate. The Lord says, “Do not touch unclean things or mingle with unclean things and I will receive you and also perform wonders” (2 Corinthians 6:17).

What is the wonder God wants to perform? Joshua 3:10 tells us, “And Joshua said, ‘By this you shall know that the Living God is among you and that He will without fail DRIVE OUT from before you the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Hivites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Jebusites.’” Do you know that the Living God is with us in this battle, for He that is with us is greater than he that is with the enemy? Hallejujah! The Living God promised us that He would drive away our enemy. Glory! In Joshua 3:10, the word “drive out” comes from the Hebrew word “Yaresh” meaning “to seize, to take possession of, to inherit, to drive away, to expel, to take away, military sense of invasion for the purpose of settling in the territory”.

God is telling us that He is going to intervene supernaturally by invading and driving all our enemies who want to trap, terrorize and deceive us. All the soldiers of the enemy who cause uproar by challenging us with empty words and tread upon our possessions and inheritance illegally will be meted with God’s wrath and indignation.
