Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah (Psalms 68:19)

Dear worshipers of the Most High,

How do you respond to someone who has been consistently good to you throughout the whole of 2023?

For the 365th times this year, the grace of God has wakened us up, so that we can bid 2023 goodbye and welcome 2024. Before we archive 2023 into history, let us take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Him who graciously and faithfully watches over each and every one of us and our loved ones.

We thank and bless You, Lord…

You are our Righteousness – Jehovah Tsidkenu (Jeremiah 23:6). We were living in the kingdom of light, basking in Your mercy, grace, goodness and fully redeemed of the curses of sin in 2023. We will continue in this abundant life in 2024.

You are our Sanctifier – Jehovah M’Kaddesh (Leviticus 20:8). We were set apart unto You and Your glorious purposes in 2023. We will continue to be people of Your prosperous plan, future and destiny in 2024.

You are our Peace – Jehovah Shalom (Judges 6:24). Despite the turmoil around the globe and even in our own small world, the peace with God and the peace of God remained constant in us in 2023. We will continue to rest in Your peace come 2024.

You are there – Jehovah Shammah (Ezekiel 48:35). Trials, testing, difficult times came and went away in 2023, and we have emerged stronger and better because You were there with us in the valley of the shadow of death and You will be with us in 2024.

You are our Healer – Jehovah Rapha (Exodus 15:26). Illnesses, diseases and infirmities might have troubled us for some moments in 2023, but they did not see the end of us because You prospered us in all things, including keeping us in good health. We will continue to prosper in good and divine health in 2024.

You are our Provider – Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:14). We have the roof over our head, food on the table and whatever we need to eat, drink and wear in 2023. We will continue to be filled and have leftover in 2024 because the owner of the cattle on a thousand hills is our source.

You are our Banner – Jehovah Nissi (Exodus 17:15). We have had a secured and protected 2023 because Your banner was flying high in our life, our home, our church and our nation. Like a lion’s marked territory, where Your banner is, there is protection, safety, and security. We will continue to enjoy such stability in 2024.

You are our Shepherd – Jehovah Rohi (Psalms 23:1). We had been instructed and directed by You in 2023 when we submitted to You in our decision-making. You had ordered our steps and led us to green pastures. We will continue to eat of the good fruits of your leading in 2024.

Have a blessed and Spirit-filled 2024.
