Beloved Brethren in the Lord,

The prophecy for this year 2024 is that it is a Year of Caution.

This includes alertness, taking heed to, being careful, watchful, paying attention, and many others. All of these require our senses to be more in action. Being sensitive to the Holy Spirit will help you most because He knows everything and He knows how and where to lead and guide you. Do you know Him? Were you baptized in the Holy Spirit? If you have not beloved brother and sister in the Lord, this is the next important step that you need to take after accepting the Lord Jesus. Don’t ignore the Holy Spirit and His voice. Train yourself in the presence of the Lord to hear Him. He is ever willing to help you in every area of your life if you are willing to listen.

In this hasty world, the applications or ‘apps’ as many know it are reflected on the phone and you can see the time you spend of different apps. If Heaven is monitoring you and me on apps what would be our app time be for the following? Worshipping the Lord, praising the Lord, praying, interceding, bible reading, spending time with the Lord, meditating the word of God, memorizing the word of God, serving the Lord and preaching the gospel. Some of these categories are totally out of our lives. We think it’s not our responsibility. We would never want anyone to see our personal app times for these. We would be too ashamed because we would like to portray and let the world think that we spend a lot of time on all these, when we actually don’t. Today make a review. And with all your heart, face the results. Are you too busy now compared to last year in your commitments to the Lord? You are pressed for time because you had been promoted last year in your official capacity, ministry. So you think you have no choice and that you have to cut down on your ‘God time.’ Before you know it, you would have taken up all your God time and replaced with entertainment time, relaxing time, chilling time, makkan time, stress relieving exercise time etc.….. You would never want your pastor or church leader to see your app times for all the above. Guilty and ashamed you will be living a double life. One for the others to see and one which is real which the Lord sees.

This Year of Caution, get on your knees and check yourself. Get back to your first love. Revelation 2:4-6 say, “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.” Repent and get back to the Lord. Give Him your love, your time, your song! Don’t be caught unguarded. You are at the edge of time. Are you ready for the sudden coming of the Lord?

In the blessed love of Jesus,
Sister Elizabeth Daniel
