“YOU ARE THE EPISTLE WHERE ADONAI HAS PLANTED YOU!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“You make it clear that you are a letter from the Messiah placed in our care, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on stone tablets but on human hearts. Such is the confidence we have through the Messiah toward God…” (2 Corinthians 3:3-5)
As a result of our ministry, you are living letters written by Christ, not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God not carved onto stone tablets but on the tablets of tender hearts.
We carry this confidence in our hearts because of our union with Christ before God. Yet we don’t see ourselves as capable enough to do anything in our own strength, for our true competence flows from God’s empowering presence.
THE PERTINENT QUESTION IS:
- What do people read through our lives? Do they read the correct Authorized Version through your life?
- Do they read the complete and correct version or is it the incomplete and incorrect version through your life? Is your life an epistle of Christ to those around you?
The Corinthians that Apostle Paul wrote to on this passage had had an encounter with the Lord Jesus. The gospel had been preached to them, and having received it, they were changed and transformed.
Much more, it was evident in their lives that they had a strong relationship with God. Now that we have the epistle to Corinthians, we may as well ask, where is the epistle to Singapore?
Where is the epistle to the United States of America, Malaysia, and Europe?
Beloved, we are the epistle to this city-state, this nation, and this Asian continent.
You are the epistle to the place where you are right now! What kind of epistle do people in your office, family, community, home, or neighbourhood read through your life?
Even before the Corinthians became an epistle, they had an encounter with the Living Saviour, Jesus Christ. How did they know Jesus? God used Apostle Paul to preach to them. (1 Corinthians 4:15)
So it is not enough to go to church. You must hear the gospel message, believe it, and be saved from sin. You must acknowledge that only Christ Jesus can save you from sin.
(1 Peter 1:23) The purpose of the gospel is to make us born again, not just to be religious, not to link us up with a preacher or famous prophet but to point us to Jesus.
BE A LIVING TESTIMONY OF JESUS’ FREE SAVING GRACE AND SALVATION.
Every believer shout a loud, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!”
Shalom and good morning.
