FPT: Narratives Of A Good Character
Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Mar 15, 2024
Beloved Saint of God Most High,
Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred week-end ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
“Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:4-5).
Let each of us esteem, look upon and be concerned for not merely our own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Let this same attitude and purpose and humble mind be in us which was in Christ Jesus, the Anointed One.
Let Him be our example in humility.
NARRATIVES OF A GOOD CHARACTER
Adversity does not build character, it reveals it.
A person’s true character can only be measured by how they respond when times are tough.
Facing difficulties is inevitable, learning from them is optional.
Stay out of these three jails:
Caring what others think, Living in the past and Fearing change.
Change your mind, change your life, for mindset is vital.
God is not going to rewrite the Bible for your generation.
Stop trying to change scripture when it is written to change you.
Goodness is about character, integrity, honesty, kindness, generosity, moral courage and the like.
More than anything else, it is about how we treat other people.
Note to self: Just because it pops into my head does NOT mean it should come out of my mouth.
When people have a “Spirit of offense”, they hear things that were never said.
Spirit of offence causes people to perceive imagined insults from others when none was given.
Offended people always find what they are looking for even when it is not there.
Remember, you could give some people a drop of water and they would still appreciate you.
But you may give other people the entire ocean and they would still take you for granted.
If you know how quickly people forget the dead then you would stop living to impress people.
Be careful who you build with, because people will use you for the foundation and finish the structure with somebody else.
Somebody shout, “HELP ME LORD JESUS!”
Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
