FPT: Narrative Of Life’s Realities
Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Apr 26, 2024
Beloved Saint of God Most High,
Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:18-19).
Do not earnestly remember the former things; neither consider the things of old.
Behold, Adonai Yahweh is doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it, and will you not give heed to it?
He is even making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
That means, the Lord God is making impossible to be possible for you in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
NARRATIVES OF LIFE’S REALITIES
If you do not leave your past in the past, it will destroy your future.
Live for what today has to offer, not for what yesterday has taken away.
In life, many people may tend to like you and support you not for who you are, but for what they are getting from you.
Such people can drop you immediately after they have gotten what they wanted from you or when they get someone who offers better than you do.
Do not be greatly affected or moved by the people who dropped you out of their mouth like chewing gum after getting what they wanted from you.
When you rise to the position of power, fame and wealth, remember to maintain a heart of humility.
The respect, honour, support and appreciation are for the position, not for you.
If the traffic police officer goes to the road without his uniform, as a civilian and begins to stop the motorists, do you think they will stop?
Definitely no! Why? Because motorists stop for the uniform, not for the person.
When you rise to fame and stop doing what brought you there, the same set of people who held you up will mock at you. Why?
Because they followed you not for who you are but for what they were getting from you.
As you rise in life, there are people you will offend just by doing the right thing.
There are people you will also offend unknowingly because of the innate human weaknesses. Now, these do not matter.
However, if you choose to use your power and position to show case your arrogance, then believe it, when the position is gone, you will suffer guilt and even become paranoid. Remember that you may run away from your enemies but you cannot run away from guilt.
But if you use your power and position to impact lives, that will give you satisfaction and bring glory to God Almighty.
Even if the people do not appreciate you or reciprocate, your self-worth will be lifted as God is glorified in praise.
At any position, you are in life, remember you that are human and maintain the heart of humility to lift up the name of the Lord.
Do unto others as you may wish them to do to you. Be kind to the unkind for they need it most!
Somebody shout a loud, “SO HELP ME LORD JESUS!”
Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
